General Coatings Corporation utilizes a spray booth which is a pressure controlled, closed environment, this allows us to apply various coatings in the ideal working conditions, we are able to control air flow and humidity and apply the various coatings that your project requires in a dust free environment so that we can provide our clients with the finest finishes available. In the spray booth a HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) spray gun is used, this is similar to a conventional spray gun but uses a compressor to supply the air; the spray gun itself requires a lower pressure (LP). A higher volume (HV) of air is used to aerosolize and propel the paint at lower air pressure. The result is a higher proportion of paint reaching the target surface with reduced overspray, materials consumption, and air pollution.
